Pioneer's made a science out of touchscreen usability, and their AVH-P2300DVD DVD receiver features a 5.8" screen that has everything in the right place. You'll appreciate the user-friendly display with its intuitive controls, as you find yourself tapping your way through menus with hardly a glance at the manual.
Speedy iPod® controls and more Slide into the driver's seat, plug your iPod into the front USB input, and you'll be able to use the receiver's controls to access your music. You'll see artist and song info on the screen, and you can even add Pioneer's optional CD-IU50V iPod cable to check out album art. Once that cable's connected, you can also view video from your iPod or iPhone® (and DVDs, of course) when you're parked, or send that video to back-seat screens when you're on the go.
Media center You'll have a lot of different ways to play your media. You can play music files burned onto CDs or DVDs, or loaded on USB devices. You can also view video and photos stored on CDs or DVDs. And this receiver features a powerful built-in amp and a 5-band equalizer so all your music will sound right.
Add on, and stay on course If you want to stay on course in your travels, you can add Pioneer's AVIC-U220 navigation module for instant access to maps of the U.S. and Canada. Once you're on the road, you can make and take hands-free phone calls with the help of Pioneer's Bluetooth adapter. And, last of all, you can connect a rear-view camera for extra safety when backing up out of those tight spots.
Want to keep your car's steering wheel audio controls? In most vehicles, you can use an adapter to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this Pioneer stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and the Pioneer, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.
Note: Bluetooth compatibility with this receiver may vary, depending on your phone and service provider.
Note: If you're going to use your iPod with this receiver, be sure to check "Hands-on Research" for specific iPod model compatibility with this receiver.
